Highlighted: lowest all-in price. The rank is overall fit for scalpers (rules, drawdown, fees, reputation), not price alone.
Each pick shows one program, the one that fits this guide best, and every price, rule and check on it belongs to that program. Entry price is its cheapest $100K checkout price after the current discount. Lowest all-in adds any activation fee and compares every route, including one-time payment options. What scalpers should check before buying
Almost every prop firm says scalping is allowed. The rules below decide whether it actually works on a funded account, so read them in the firm’s review before you pay.
1. Minimum hold time
Some firms do not count profit from trades closed within a set time, often 30 seconds to a few minutes, while the losses from those trades still count. For a trader in and out within seconds, that rule alone rules a firm out. Look for it under trading rules in each firm review.
2. Consistency rules
A consistency rule caps how much of your profit can come from one day. Scalpers who catch one big session can pass the target and still wait for a payout. 49 firms on this site have at least one program without one. Run your own results through the Consistency Calculator.
3. How the drawdown moves
A static drawdown never moves. End-of-day trailing only moves at the daily close. Intraday trailing follows every new high in real time, so open profit that comes back still lifts your floor. 39 firms offer static drawdown on at least one program, and the drawdown types guide compares all three.
4. News windows
Many firms block opening or closing trades a few minutes either side of high-impact releases, at least once you are funded. If you trade the first move after the data, pick a firm without that window and keep the Economic Calendar open.
5. EAs, bots and trade copiers
45 firms allow EAs on at least one program, but many allow only your own code and ban bought bots. Copying between your own accounts is often fine, copying from someone else rarely is. The checklist on each pick shows whether EAs are allowed.
6. Cost per trade
On a 3 to 5 pip target, spread and commission take a large share of every win. Futures firms charge per contract, forex firms through spread and commission. Size every trade with the Futures Calculator or Forex Calculator and include the cost.
The questions scalpers ask before buying an evaluation.
Can you scalp on a prop firm account?
Yes, at most firms, but the rules differ. Some ignore profit from trades held under a minimum time, some block trading around news, and some cap how much of your profit can come from one day. Every firm in the lists above allows scalping on at least one program.
What is the best prop firm for scalping?
It depends on your market. Use the Futures, Forex and Crypto tabs above: each shows the top 5 for scalpers, ranked on scalping rules, consistency rules, EA permissions, payout speed, price and Trustpilot score. Every figure comes live from the firm’s review.
What is a minimum hold time rule?
A rule that ignores, or penalises, trades closed within a set time after opening, often between 30 seconds and a few minutes. Losses from those trades still count, so it works against a scalper twice. Check the trading rules section of each firm review before you buy.
Can I use an EA or bot to scalp?
At some firms. 45 firms on this site allow EAs on at least one program, but many limit it to your own code, ban third-party bots or exclude certain programs. The checklist on each pick shows whether EAs are allowed, and the review gives the exact policy.
What drawdown type is best for scalpers?
Static is the safest, because the floor never moves. End-of-day trailing only moves at the daily close, so intraday swings do not lift it. Intraday trailing follows every new high in real time, which is the hardest fit for an active scalper. The drawdown types guide shows all three with numbers.
Do consistency rules affect scalpers?
Yes. A consistency rule caps how much of your total profit can come from your best day, so one strong session can delay a payout or fail an evaluation. 49 firms have at least one program without one. Test your own results in the Consistency Calculator.
Can I scalp the news?
Only at some firms. Many block opening or closing trades in a window of a few minutes around high-impact releases, at least on funded accounts. Check the news rule in the firm’s review and the Economic Calendar before your session.
How are these firms ranked?
Only firms that allow scalping are listed. They are then ranked on consistency rules, EA permissions, payout speed, price, profit split and Trustpilot score from each firm’s review. No firm pays for a spot. Browse every other guide in the Best Prop Firms hub.
