How Delisting Works
We built ThePropFirmGuide as active traders ourselves, to point people toward firms that actually pay and treat traders fairly. That only means something if we are willing to remove the ones that do not. A firm gets delisted when its conduct puts traders at real risk, most often by withholding payouts, changing rules to avoid paying, or misleading the people funding their accounts.
The goal is simple. You should always know that a recommendation is based on how a firm treats traders, not on what it pays us. When a firm is delisted, three things happen:

What Happened
Alpha Futures cancelled their premium plan and then voided the payouts of the traders who were using it. People who had paid for the premium plan, passed their evaluations, and earned withdrawals in good faith had those payouts wiped out when the firm discontinued the plan. This affected thousands of funded traders who had done nothing wrong.
Our Position
Paying traders what they have earned is the single most important thing a prop firm does. Cancelling a paid plan and then refusing to honour the payouts of everyone who was on it breaks that trust completely. We put traders first, so we delisted Alpha Futures and stopped all affiliations and commissions with them. They no longer appear in our rankings, comparisons, or deals, and no link on this site earns us anything from them.
What Happened
During a live-streamed relaunch of their prop firm, NYS Markets promised free accounts to many traders, then failed to deliver them. Instead of the free accounts that were promised, traders received pass-now-pay-later accounts, which is not what was offered. From there the firm's management grew steadily more evasive and less transparent about how it was operating.
Our Position
We do not cooperate with firms that fail to hold the highest standards or to operate with clear transparency. Promising traders one thing on stream and delivering another, then becoming harder to pin down as questions mounted, is exactly the kind of conduct that breaks trust. We put traders first, so we delisted NYS Markets and ended all affiliations and commissions with them. They no longer appear in our rankings, comparisons, or deals, and no link on this site earns us anything from them.

Firms that shut down and no longer operate. This is not a judgment on how they treated traders.
What Happened
FundedSeat announced its closure on September 28, 2026, saying “limitations from big trading platforms” had kept it from the growth it needed. It did not support NinjaTrader or Tradovate on its simulated accounts and could not offer MetaTrader. The firm says every active account will be refunded, withdrawals pending at the announcement will be paid, and positive live account balances will be disbursed. Support stays open through live chat and email.
Our Position
This is a closure, not a conduct delisting. FundedSeat paid its traders while it was open and has committed to refunds on the way out. It is listed here because it no longer operates, so we have removed it from every ranking, comparison and deal and ended the affiliation.
