About Instant Funding

Instant Funding has been running out of the United Kingdom since June 2022 under founder Lewis Mansbridge, and the name is the business model — most of what it sells hands you a funded account the day you pay. Accounts start at $625 and reach $200,000, with a combined cap of $1,000,000 across everything you hold, measured on starting balance rather than equity. It sits at 3.5 on Trustpilot from 4,689 reviews.

Nine programs sit in two ranges. Original holds the four instant accounts — Instant Funding, Instant Funding GO, IF1 and IF Micro — plus the One-Phase and One-Phase Micro evaluations. Clarity is the newer, simplified range: Instant Funding Clarity, IF Micro Clarity and One-Phase Clarity. Everything trades on cTrader, Match Trader or MT5, and payouts leave by crypto or Riseworks with a $25 floor and no ceiling.

The two ranges trade different things away. Original gives you 1:100 on currencies but wraps the instant accounts in Smart Drawdown, which starts at 10% and locks to 5% once you have made 5%. Clarity drops IF Micro Clarity and One-Phase Clarity to 1:30 on currencies and gives back the rules: One-Phase Clarity has no consistency requirement at all, and IF Micro Clarity lets you trade news and hold over weekends without buying anything. Instant Funding Clarity keeps 1:100 but is the only account that can cut your split to 50% mid-run if you trip a drawdown flag.

What you will not find here is a long list of prohibitions. Martingale is permitted outright, which almost no firm allows. Copy trading works between your own accounts and with outside ones, in either direction. EAs are fine for risk and trade management. The hard line is infrastructure: no VPS, no VPN, no server trading of any kind, and 60 days of inactivity breaches the account.

Programs & Modes

Instant Funding

The flagship. No evaluation, no profit target and no daily loss cap — just Smart Drawdown, which opens at 10% and locks permanently to 5% once you are 5% up. First payout lands 14 days after your first trade, then every 7. News and weekend holding both need the add-on. Sizes 625 through 120K, from $33.00.

Profit Split: 80% standard → 90% with the add-on

No Target | Max Loss 10% (EOD Trailing) | No Daily Limit | Leverage 1:100 | Min 1 day | Payouts 7 Days

Instant Funding GO

The same no-evaluation deal on a tighter ladder, with a 4% daily cap that the flagship does not have. Smart Drawdown and the 14-then-7-day payout cycle work identically. Sizes 1.25K through 80K, from $50.25.

Profit Split: 80% standard → 90% with the add-on

No Target | Max Loss 10% (EOD Trailing) | Daily 4% | Leverage 1:100 | Min 1 day | Payouts 7 Days

IF1

A 24-hour account. The window opens on your first trade and closes a day later, and you get exactly one payout — at 90%, the only standard 90% split on the firm. Needs a 15% best-day rule and 2% net profit to qualify, under the tightest limits here: 2% daily, 4% max. Sizes 2K through 100K, from $18.75.

Profit Split: 90% standard

No Target | Max Loss 4% (Static) | Daily 2% | Leverage 1:100 | Min None | Payouts 1 Day

IF Micro

Instant funding with news and weekend holding built in rather than sold. The catch is the 15% best-day rule, which means seven profitable days before you can withdraw, plus a 1% cap on risk per instrument that breaches you if you exceed it. Sizes 5K through 100K, from $31.50.

Profit Split: 80% standard → 90% with the add-on

No Target | Max Loss 6% (Static) | Daily 4% | Leverage 1:100 | Min 7 days | Payouts 7 Days

One-Phase

A single 10% target under an 8% static max loss, then on-demand payouts at 80%. Three trading days minimum, skippable with an add-on. The split climbs to 90% free if you make 10% profit within three months. Weekend holding is fine during the challenge but needs the add-on once funded. Sizes 5K through 100K, from $33.00.

Profit Split: 80% standard → 90% with the add-on

Target 10% | Max Loss 8% (Static) | Daily 3% | Leverage 1:100 | Min 3 days | Payouts 3 Days

One-Phase Micro

The smaller single-target route — 7% to pass, 7% static max loss, one trading day minimum. News and weekend holding are built in, and payouts run on demand under the 15% best-day rule. Sizes 10K through 100K, from $29.25.

Profit Split: 80% standard → 90% with the add-on

Target 7% | Max Loss 7% (Static) | Daily 4% | Leverage 1:100 | Min 1 day | Payouts 7 Days

Instant Funding Clarity

Clarity applied to the flagship: still 1:100, still no target and no daily cap, still Smart Drawdown. What changes is the fine print — no consistency rule, no max risk per position and no lot caps. The trade-off is the Account Drawdown flag, which cuts your split to 50% on the first trip and breaches you on the second. Sizes 625 through 120K, from $32.00.

Profit Split: 80% standard → 90% with the add-on

No Target | Max Loss 10% (EOD Trailing) | No Daily Limit | Leverage 1:100 | Min None | Payouts 7 Days

IF Micro Clarity

The simplified micro account. No profit target, news and weekend trading included, and payouts on demand under a 20% best-day rule — five profitable days at 0.5% each. Currency leverage drops to 1:30, which is what pays for the cleaner rulebook. Sizes 5K through 200K, from $71.00.

Profit Split: 80% standard → 90% with the add-on

No Target | Max Loss 6% (EOD Trailing) | Daily 3% | Leverage 1:30 | Min 1 day | Payouts 5 Days

One-Phase Clarity

The cleanest payout structure on the page: no consistency rule at all, first withdrawal on demand once you are 1.5% up, then every 7 days. A 9% target under a 6% EOD trailing drawdown, at 1:30 on currencies. Sizes 5K through 100K, from $77.00.

Profit Split: 80% standard → 90% with the add-on

Target 9% | Max Loss 6% (EOD Trailing) | Daily 4% | Leverage 1:30 | Min None | Payouts 1 Day

Profit Split, Payouts & Scaling

Payout timing is program-specific and it is the main thing separating the nine accounts. IF1 pays 24 hours after your first trade at a 90% split, but permits one withdrawal and closes with it, and needs a 15% best-day rule plus 2% net profit. One-Phase Clarity pays on demand once you are 1.5% up, then every 7 days, with no consistency rule. IF Micro Clarity pays on demand under a 20% best-day rule and five profitable days at 0.5% each. IF Micro and One-Phase Micro sit under the 15% rule, which is seven profitable days; One-Phase uses 40%, which is three. Instant Funding, Instant Funding GO and Instant Funding Clarity all pay first at 14 days after your first trade, then every 7 days once you place a new trade. Minimum withdrawal is $25 by crypto or Riseworks, with no ceiling.

Instant Funding Reviews & Ratings

Rated by our community & expert team

Instant Funding sells nine programs across two ranges, $625 to $200,000. The Original six run at 1:100 and lean on Smart Drawdown — it opens at 10% of your starting balance and clamps permanently to 5% the moment you are 5% up, so the buffer shrinks exactly when you start winning. The three Clarity accounts strip out the fine print instead: no consistency rule on two of them, news and weekend trading built in on IF Micro Clarity, but currency leverage cut to 1:30. IF1 is the outlier — 90% split and a payout 24 hours after your first trade, except the account dies with that single withdrawal. Three things to read before you buy: VPS and VPN are banned outright, 80% is the real split almost everywhere with 90% behind a paid add-on, and Instant Funding Clarity cuts you to 50% after one drawdown flag and breaches you on the second.

Summary

A UK firm trading since June 2022, running nine programs from $625 to $200,000 on cTrader, Match Trader and MT5. Payouts are crypto or Riseworks, $25 minimum, no cap. Combined allocation tops out at $1,000,000. Trustpilot sits at 3.5 across 4,689 reviews.

Cheapest entry on the whole page is the $2,000 IF1 at $18.75, and the fastest money is IF1 too — one payout, 24 hours after your first trade. If you want to keep the account, One-Phase Clarity pays on demand once you are 1.5% up with no consistency rule attached, which is the cleanest payout structure the firm offers.

Read three things before buying. The 80% split is what you actually get; 90% is an add-on everywhere except IF1. Currency leverage is 1:30 on IF Micro Clarity and One-Phase Clarity, not the 1:100 the Original range advertises. And VPS and VPN are banned outright, which kills most hosted automation before you place a trade.

Deep Dive

More About Instant Funding

Is Instant Funding Legit?

Yes. Four years of trading since June 2022, a named founder in Lewis Mansbridge, a UK base, and 3.5 on Trustpilot from 4,689 reviews. That is a middling score rather than a bad one, and the reasons behind it are worth understanding before you decide.

Start with what the firm gets right. The rulebook is published in full and the awkward parts are stated plainly rather than buried. Smart Drawdown is explained with worked examples. IF1 tells you up front that you get one payout and the account closes. IF Micro publishes its 15% best-day rule and its 1% per-instrument cap, where exceeding the cap is treated as gambling and breaches you. None of that is hidden in a terms page nobody reads.

Where traders actually lose accounts here has little to do with trading badly. VPS, VPN and server trading are prohibited outright — that single line breaks most hosted automation setups before the first trade. Sixty days of inactivity breaches the account. On the Original instant accounts, major news and weekend holding both require the Allow major news trading and weekend holding add-on, so a position left open on a Friday can end you if you did not buy it. Latency arbitrage, account arbitrage and tick scalping are all prohibited.

Two structural things deserve a hard look. Smart Drawdown tightens from 10% to 5% permanently once you make 5% — profitable traders end up with half the buffer they started with, which is the opposite of how most firms scale risk. And Instant Funding Clarity carries an Account Drawdown flag system: trip it once and your split drops from 80% to 50%, trip it twice and the account is breached. That is disclosed, but it is the harshest term on the page.

The split itself is the last thing to be clear-eyed about. Every headline says 90%. The default is 80% on eight of the nine programs, and closing the gap means buying the Add 10% to profit split add-on or, on One-Phase, making 10% profit inside three months. IF1 is the only account that pays 90% as standard, and it pays exactly once.

Instant Funding vs Other Forex Prop Firms

Instant Funding vs Top One Trader: The natural comparison, since both sell instant funding next to evaluations. Top One pushes to a 100% split on its Prime tier and does not gate weekend holding behind a purchase. Instant Funding answers with a far cheaper floor — $18.75 against Top One’s entry — and with martingale permitted, which Top One does not match. If you want the highest split, take Top One. If you want to be funded this afternoon for under twenty dollars, this is the cheaper door.

Instant Funding vs BrightFunded: BrightFunded is evaluation-only and rewards patience; Instant Funding sells you the account outright. The deciding factor is usually infrastructure rather than rules: BrightFunded tolerates hosted setups, Instant Funding bans VPS and VPN completely. Automated traders should settle that question first, because everything else is preference. BrightFunded also leaves your drawdown where it started, while Smart Drawdown tightens on you as you profit.

Instant Funding vs Blueberry Funded: Blueberry keeps one clean evaluation ladder. Instant Funding runs nine programs with three different best-day rules — 15% on IF1, IF Micro and One-Phase Micro, 20% on IF Micro Clarity, 40% on One-Phase — and two leverage tiers. That breadth is real choice if you know what you want and a trap if you do not read the tier you bought. Blueberry is easier to understand at a glance; Instant Funding rewards the reading.

Instant Funding Frequently Asked Questions

What programs does Instant Funding offer?

Nine, split across two ranges. Original holds Instant Funding, Instant Funding GO, IF1 and IF Micro, which are all instant funding with no evaluation, plus the One-Phase and One-Phase Micro evaluations. Clarity holds Instant Funding Clarity, IF Micro Clarity and One-Phase Clarity. Account sizes run from $625 to $200,000.

What is the difference between Instant Funding Original and Clarity?

Original gives you 1:100 on currencies but more conditions attached. Clarity simplifies the rules and cuts leverage on two of its three accounts. IF Micro Clarity and One-Phase Clarity trade at 1:30 on currencies; Instant Funding Clarity stays at 1:100. One-Phase Clarity has no consistency rule at all, and IF Micro Clarity includes news trading and weekend holding without an add-on.

What is Smart Drawdown?

It applies to Instant Funding, Instant Funding GO and Instant Funding Clarity. Your maximum loss starts at 10% of the starting balance and stays there until you reach 5% profit. At that point it tightens permanently to 5% and never moves again. On a $10,000 account that means the floor starts at $9,000 and moves to $9,500 once you have banked $500.

What profit split does Instant Funding pay?

80% as standard on eight of the nine programs, raised to 90% with the Add 10% to profit split add-on. IF1 is the exception and pays 90% by default. One-Phase can also reach 90% without paying, by making 10% profit within three months. On Instant Funding Clarity, a first Account Drawdown flag reduces the split to 50% and a second breaches the account.

How fast does Instant Funding pay out?

IF1 is fastest at 24 hours from your first trade, but it allows a single payout and the account closes with it. One-Phase Clarity pays on demand once you are 1.5% up, then every 7 days. IF Micro Clarity pays on demand under a 20% best-day rule, so about 5 days. Instant Funding, GO and Instant Funding Clarity pay first at 14 days and then every 7. Minimum withdrawal is $25 by crypto or Riseworks, with no upper limit.

What are the consistency rules at Instant Funding?

They vary by program and they drive how quickly you can withdraw. IF1, IF Micro and One-Phase Micro use a 15% best-day rule, which works out at seven profitable days. IF Micro Clarity uses 20%, or five days, and its Increase consistency to 20% add-on is what relaxes it. One-Phase uses 40%, or three days. One-Phase Clarity and Instant Funding Clarity have no consistency rule at all.

How much does an Instant Funding account cost?

The cheapest account on the page is the $2,000 IF1 at $18.75 after discount. Three codes are live: CLARITY35 takes 35% off any Clarity account, CORE25 takes 25% off eligible IF Original accounts, and GUIDE takes 10% off anything. Prices scale with account size up to the $200,000 IF Micro Clarity tier.

Can I use a VPS or VPN with Instant Funding?

No. VPS, VPN and any form of server trading are prohibited outright, and this is the restriction that catches most people out. If you run automation on a hosted server rather than your own machine, check this before buying anything.

Is martingale allowed at Instant Funding?

Yes, which is rare among prop firms. On One-Phase, Two-Phase and IF Micro accounts it is permitted without restriction, including on the funded stage. On Instant Funding accounts you can add to losing positions but cannot repeatedly double lot sizes after a loss. Martingale is assessed across instruments rather than per symbol.

What are the maximum leverage and allocation at Instant Funding?

Currency leverage is 1:100 across the Original range and on Instant Funding Clarity, and 1:30 on IF Micro Clarity and One-Phase Clarity. Commodities and indices are 1:20 and crypto is 1:2 throughout. Maximum allocation is $1,000,000, and it is a combined cap across every account and challenge type based on starting balance, not $1,000,000 per programme.
