50% Off for New Customers
First time with Goat Funded Trader? Code FIRSTGFT halves the price of any account — a 2-Step Goat drops from $36.00 to $18.00. Prices in our Challenges table already reflect it.
40% Off Plus Buy One Get One
Code BOGO40 takes 40% off and adds a second account free. Better value than the 50% code if you plan to run two accounts.
News Trading Allowed
News trading is allowed, but any trade opened or closed within 5 minutes before or after high-impact news can only bank up to 1% of the account's initial balance. Anything above that is removed with no penalty, on both challenge and funded phases.
Copy Trading Allowed
Copy trading of any kind is strictly prohibited. Every account has to be traded on its own, and you cannot duplicate trades or trade ideas, by hand or by EA, between accounts at any stage.
Consistency Rule - Instant GOAT & GOAT Blitz Restricted
Applies to Instant GOAT and GOAT Blitz (funded)
You can only request a payout if no single trading day makes up 15% or more of your total profit during the payout period. If it does, you keep trading until that is no longer the case.
Consistency Rule - Instant PRO Restricted
Applies to the Instant PRO program
You can only request a payout if no single trading day makes up 20% or more of your total profit during the payout period.
Max Loss Per Trade Restricted
Applies to Instant funding and GOAT Blitz
Your account is permanently closed if floating losses hit -2% of your balance at any point.
Goat Guard Restricted
Goat Guard is GFT's risk tool for funded accounts other than instant funding. It automatically closes every open trade if they hit a 2% loss, which counts as a soft breach so you can keep trading with no ban. The first time it triggers, your profit split drops to 50%. A second trigger breaches the account fully.
Daily Profit Cap Restricted
Funded traders have their daily profit capped at $3,000.
Minimum Trade Hold Time Restricted
Profit from trades held under 2 minutes on funded accounts is not counted, though the losses still apply.
Weekend Gap Policy Restricted
Weekend holding is allowed, but you cannot trade purely to exploit the Monday morning gap. On funded accounts, any profit from trades opened in the last three hours of Friday and closed in the first three hours of Monday is removed. Overnight and crypto weekend holding are otherwise fine.
Minimum Trading Days Restricted
1-Step and 2-Step accounts need 3 profitable days with at least 0.5% profit each, on both evaluation and funded. The 3-Step evaluation has none, but its funded stage needs 3. Instant funding and Goat Blitz need 5 profitable days of at least 0.5% each.
Expert Advisors (EAs) Restricted
EAs are fine as long as they follow the prohibited-practice rules, but third-party EAs, high-frequency trading systems, and Gold Arbitrage EAs are not allowed. You also cannot use a bot to pass the challenge and then switch to manual on the funded account, or the other way around.
Risk Management Restricted
GFT can apply a 1% risk limit per trade idea if it spots excessive risk-taking, and using more than 80% of your available margin on a single trade is banned. Martingale and grid recovery systems that increase lot size after losses are also prohibited.
Inactivity Rule Restricted
Trade at least once every 30 days. Accounts left inactive for 30 consecutive days are breached.
Prohibited Trading Practices Prohibited
Exploiting pricing or platform errors, insider information, front-running, all-or-nothing trading, hedging across accounts, third-party or off-the-shelf EAs, switching strategy between evaluation and funded, and duplicating trades across accounts are all banned.
Shared Device Usage Prohibited
You cannot access or trade your account from a shared mobile or desktop device. Activity from a device linked to several user accounts leads to loss of payout eligibility and can end in termination.
Social Media & Public Conduct Prohibited
Spreading false information or running negative advertising about Goat Funded Trader on social media or public platforms is prohibited, and can lead to account termination, a permanent ban, and potential legal action.

Live On-Chain Payouts — Last 30 Days
Loading…RISEPAY on-chain data only. Some firms also pay via wire or other crypto — figures are a partial view.
Minimum: $100 • Maximum: your first two payouts are capped at 6% of the initial balance or $10,000, whichever is lower, with no limits after that (all programs)
Processing: Crypto max $3,000/payout • Skrill max $5,000/payout
Instant Funding Hero
90% split, paid bi-weekly.
Instant Funding Premium
80% split, paid every 10 days.
Instant Funding Goat
80% split, or 100% with the add-on. Paid bi-weekly.
1-Step, 2-Step Goat, 2-Step Standard, 3-Step Goat & Goat Blitz
80% split, or 100% with the add-on. Paid bi-weekly.
First Reward on Demand (Add-On)
Takes your first payout on demand at a 40% split. The 3% minimum profit and the minimum profitable trading day requirements still apply, and the 100% split add-on does not lift that 40% on the first reward.
Payout Caps
The first two payouts are capped at 6% of the initial balance or $10,000, whichever is lower. No cap after that, on any program.
Minimum Payout
$100.
Drawdown Reset
On accounts with trailing drawdown, the maximum loss limit resets after each payout.
Payout Methods
Crypto, Riseworks and Skrill. Bank transfer is available only in Kenya, South Africa, Egypt, Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Tanzania, Cameroon and Ghana.
Scaling — Assessment Accounts
Level 1: +15% capital and a 90% split after 2 months and 4 payouts, with the daily and max loss limits each up 1%. Level 2: +30% capital, 90% split and weekly payouts after 4 months and 6 payouts, limits up 2%. Level 3: +40% capital, 92% split, a $300–$500 monthly salary, weekly payouts and a free challenge after 5 months and 10 payouts, limits up 3%. Level 4, GOAT Trader: +50% capital, 95% split, the monthly salary and a free challenge after 6 months and 15 payouts, limits up 4%. Scaling always works from your original account size, even where accounts have been merged.
Scaling — Instant Funding
Double the account each time you reach a 10% profit target, up to three times. On hitting it you can keep trading, withdraw, or scale — taking 50% of the profit and a new account at double the balance.

Goat Funded Trader Reviews & Ratings
Rated by our community & expert team
The menu is the draw — eight programs, entry from $18, a fee refunded on your fourth payout, and a scaling plan that reaches a 95% split with a monthly salary. What you accept is one of the denser rulebooks on this site. Funded profit is capped at $3,000 a day. Goat Guard force-closes your trades at a 2% loss, halves your split the first time and breaches you the second. Profit from trades held under 2 minutes does not count, though the losses do. Hedging is banned outright and copy trading only works between funded accounts. Resets get expensive fast: a funded 3-Step Goat reset costs 175% of the original fee. Read the rules before the prices.
Summary
Goat Funded Trader runs eight programs from Hong Kong. The three Instant tiers fund you immediately on trailing drawdown: Premium at a fixed 80% split with no consistency rule and 10-day payouts, Goat at 80% with a 15% consistency rule, and Hero at 90% needing 6 profitable days. Goat Blitz asks the lowest target on the board at 3%. The evaluations use static drawdown — 1-Step Goat at 10%, 2-Step Standard at 10% then 5%, 2-Step Goat at 8% then 6%, and 3-Step Goat spreading the target across three stages. Sizes run $2,500 to $400,000, and code GUIDE takes 50% off. Payouts are bi-weekly, or every 10 days on Instant Premium, with a $100 minimum through crypto, Riseworks or Skrill. Three rules deserve attention before buying: the $3,000 daily profit cap, Goat Guard’s 2% auto-close, and the 2-minute minimum hold on funded accounts. Its 3.4 TrustPilot rating from 4,179 reviews sits below most of its rivals.
Deep Dive
More About Goat Funded Trader
Is Goat Funded Trader Legit?
Goat Funded Trader has traded from Hong Kong since June 2023 under Edoardo Dalla Torre, and pays through crypto, Riseworks and Skrill, with bank transfer in eight African markets. The rules are published in unusual detail — the exact reset surcharges by phase, the Goat Guard thresholds, the floating-loss limits per Instant tier and the scaling requirements. That transparency counts for something. Set against it, the 3.4 TrustPilot rating across 4,179 reviews is the lowest of any firm we cover, and the rulebook contains several clauses that quietly favour the house: profit from sub-2-minute trades is discarded while losses stand, and a funded reset can cost 175% of what you originally paid. Start small, read your program’s rules specifically, and check your country is eligible — the restricted list includes Hong Kong itself.
Goat Funded Trader vs Other Forex Prop Firms
Goat Funded Trader vs FundingPips: Both reach a 100% split and both run five or more programs. FundingPips has a far larger review base and a lighter rulebook; GFT answers with cheaper entry and instant funding in three tiers. On reputation alone FundingPips wins comfortably.
Goat Funded Trader vs FXIFY: FXIFY also runs eight programs and also pays 100% on one of them. It has no daily profit cap, no forced 2% auto-close and no minimum hold time. GFT is cheaper to enter and refunds the fee; FXIFY gives you more room once you are trading.
Goat Funded Trader vs Funded Trading Plus: FT+ has four years behind it, allows same-account hedging and imposes no daily profit cap. GFT counters with more programs and a refundable fee, but the extra rules make it the harder account to hold.
Goat Funded Trader Frequently Asked Questions
What challenge types does Goat Funded Trader offer?
Eight. Instant Premium, Instant Goat and Instant Hero fund you on purchase. Goat Blitz is a weekend promo with a 3% target. The evaluations are 1-Step Goat, 2-Step Standard, 2-Step Goat and 3-Step Goat.
How much does a Goat Funded Trader account cost?
Code GUIDE takes 50% off everything. A 2-Step Goat 5K is $18, a Goat Blitz 2.5K is $23.50, and a 1-Step Goat 5K is $37. The fee is refunded in full on your fourth payout.
What is the profit split at Goat Funded Trader?
80% as standard, rising to 100% with the profit split add-on. Instant Hero starts at 90% instead, and Instant Premium is fixed at 80% with no add-on available.
Does Goat Funded Trader have a daily profit cap?
Yes — funded accounts are capped at $3,000 of profit in a single trading day.
What is Goat Guard?
A risk tool on funded accounts, excluding instant funding, that automatically closes every open trade if they reach a 2% loss. It counts as a soft breach so you can keep trading, but triggering it once cuts your split to 50% and a second time breaches the account.
Is copy trading allowed at Goat Funded Trader?
Only between your own funded accounts. Copying between evaluation accounts, or from an evaluation to a funded account, is not permitted, and third-party signal services are banned outright.
What is the minimum trade hold time?
Two minutes on funded accounts. Profit from anything shorter is not counted, though losses from those trades still apply.
How often does Goat Funded Trader pay out?
Bi-weekly on every program except Instant Premium, which pays every 10 days. The minimum payout is $100, and the first two payouts are capped at 6% of your initial balance or $10,000, whichever is lower.
What does a reset cost?
It depends on the stage. Phase 1 resets carry a 7% discount, but funded resets carry a surcharge — 50% on 1-Step Goat and Goat Blitz, 100% on the 2-Step tiers, and 175% on 3-Step Goat.
What is the Goat Funded Trader scaling plan?
Four levels on assessment accounts. Level 1 adds 15% capital and a 90% split after 2 months and 4 payouts; Level 4, GOAT Trader, adds 50% capital, a 95% split, a $300–$500 monthly salary and a free challenge after 6 months and 15 payouts.
