Maven has been trading since November 2022 out of Saint Lucia under founder Jon Alexander. Seven programs, six account sizes each, $2,000 to $100,000, with a maximum allocation of $200,000 and a scaling plan that reaches $1,000,000. Trading runs on Match Trader or MT5 at 1:75 on FX, and payouts go out by bank transfer, crypto or Riseworks.
Entry is the cheapest part of the market. 1-Step BNPL costs $5 and defers the real fee — $40 on a $2,000 account rising to $589 on $100,000 — until you actually pass. Omo 2-Step starts at $9 with code OMO. Instant funds you on purchase. Mini is a one-day account paying 70%. The three Standard evaluations run 8%, 8%-then-5%, and 3%-3%-3%. Code GUIDE takes 10% off anything.
Drawdown separates them far more than price does. 1-Step BNPL is the outlier with 10% of static room and no daily loss limit at all. Standard 2-Step and Omo 2-Step both give 8% static and a 4% daily cap. Standard 3-Step asks the smallest targets in the lineup but leaves only 3%. Instant and Mini run 3% EOD trailing plus a 1% floating PnL limit, which measures the live gap between balance and equity — a position that would have recovered can still end the account before it closes.
The rulebook is stricter than the pricing suggests. Expert Advisors are not permitted under any circumstances, and hedging is prohibited alongside HFT, arbitrage, tick scalping, server execution and grid trading. Manual copy trading is allowed, including from broker and other prop accounts, but trade copiers are not. Every trade has to stay open at least a minute, 150 seconds on Mini and funded Omo. Your IP has to stay in one geographical region, and 30 days dormant breaches the account.
Two payout rules decide what a funded account is actually worth here. Withdrawals cap at $10,000 per 30-day cycle counted across every account you hold, with profit above that voided rather than carried — so running five accounts does not raise your ceiling. And the balance resets to its starting figure after each payout, which means capital never compounds. Past $5,000 in payouts, a 50% best-day rule applies and an analyst interview becomes mandatory.
Programs & Modes
Instant
Funded on purchase, no evaluation. A 3% EOD trailing drawdown and a 2% daily cap, with a 1% floating PnL limit that breaches the account on an unrealised loss. Payouts release on demand once the 20% consistency rule is satisfied, which works out at five profitable days. Sizes 2K through 100K, from $14.00.
Profit Split: 80% — no add-on, no upgrade path
No Target | Max Loss 3% (EOD Trailing) | Daily 2% | Leverage 1:75 | Min 5 days | Payouts 5 Days
Mini
The only program paying 70% rather than 80%, and the only one with no fee refund. One open trade at a time, a 1% floating PnL limit, and a single payout the day after the trading period closes. Its 15% consistency rule means seven profitable days before that payout clears. Sizes 2K through 100K, from $16.00.
Profit Split: 70% — no add-on, no upgrade path
No Target | Max Loss 3% (EOD Trailing) | Daily 2% | Leverage 1:75 | Min None | Payouts 1 Day
1-Step BNPL
Five dollars up front, the rest deferred. You pay a $5 fee to start and the activation fee only when you pass, from $40 on a $2K account to $589 on $100K. A 4% target under a 10% static drawdown with no daily loss limit at all — the most generous risk profile on the firm. The M2 Account Saver applies: a 2% drawdown breach cuts your split to 50%, a second is a hard breach. Sizes 2K through 100K, from $5.00.
Profit Split: 80% — no add-on, no upgrade path
Target 4% | Max Loss 10% (Static) | No Daily Limit | Leverage 1:75 | Min None | Payouts 5 Days
Standard 1-Step
One 8% target under a 5% EOD trailing drawdown and a 3% daily cap. No consistency rule, no news trading, and a flat $20 minimum withdrawal on a 10-business-day cycle. Sizes 2K through 100K, from $14.00.
Profit Split: 80% — no add-on, no upgrade path
Target 8% | Max Loss 5% (EOD Trailing) | Daily 3% | Leverage 1:75 | Min 1 day | Payouts 10 Days
Standard 2-Step
8% then 5%, under an 8% static drawdown and a 4% daily cap. Three profitable days at 0.5% each. Metals trade at 1:100 here, the only place on the firm they do. Sizes 2K through 100K, from $18.00.
Profit Split: 80% — no add-on, no upgrade path
Target 8% - 5% | Max Loss 8% (Static) | Daily 4% | Leverage 1:75 | Min 3 days | Payouts 10 Days
Standard 3-Step
Three phases at 3% each, under a 3% static drawdown and a 2% daily cap. The lowest targets on the firm and the tightest room to hit them. Sizes 2K through 100K, from $12.00.
Profit Split: 80% — no add-on, no upgrade path
Target 3% - 3% - 3% | Max Loss 3% (Static) | Daily 2% | Leverage 1:75 | Min 1 day | Payouts 10 Days
Omo 2-Step
6% then 8% under an 8% static drawdown, with a 180-day combined limit across both phases. News trading is unrestricted through the evaluation and only capped once funded. Four profitable days at 0.5%, and the first two payouts are capped at 6% and 8% of balance. Sizes 2K through 100K, from $9.00.
Profit Split: 80% — no add-on, no upgrade path
Target 6% - 8% | Max Loss 8% (Static) | Daily 4% | Leverage 1:75 | Min 4 days | Payouts 10 Days
Profit Split, Payouts & Scaling
Payout timing separates the seven programs more than price does. Mini is fastest — a single payout the day after the trading period ends, at 70% — but it needs a 15% consistency score on your largest winning trade, which works out at roughly seven profitable days. Instant and 1-Step BNPL both release on demand once requirements are met, gated by a 20% consistency rule on your largest winning day — about five profitable days. The three Standard programs and Omo 2-Step all run a 10-day cycle at 80%. Minimum withdrawal is $20 on the Standard programs and Omo, or 3% of the initial balance on Instant and Mini. Across all of it the ceiling is $10,000 per 30-day cycle counted across every account you hold, and the balance resets to its starting figure after each payout.

OMO — 40% Off Omo Challenges
40% off every Omo 2-Step account. The $2K and $5K tiers take a flat $10 and $17 off instead, which works out slightly deeper.
GUIDE — 10% Off Everything
10% off every program and every account size, Omo included.
Copy Trading Allowed
Manual copy trading is allowed between your own Maven accounts, other prop firm accounts and broker accounts. Trade copiers on the platforms are not permitted, and copying other people’s trades is prohibited.
Weekend Holding & Crypto on Weekends Allowed
Positions can be held over the weekend, and crypto can be traded through the weekend session.
News Trading — Instant Mini, Instant Standard & 1-Step BNPL Allowed
These three programs carry no news restriction at all — you can open and close through red-folder releases.
News Trading — 2-Step OMO Evaluation Allowed
Fully permitted through Phase 1 and Phase 2 with no restrictions. The funded stage is capped instead of blocked (see below).
Buyback Allowed
A breached funded account can be restored instantly by paying a buyback fee, with no challenge to re-run. $2,000 account $200 · $5,000 $400 · $10,000 $750 · $20,000 $1,400 · $50,000 $3,500 · $100,000 $6,000.
Consistency Rule — Instant Standard & 1-Step BNPL (funded only) Restricted
Withdrawals are released only when your consistency score sits at 20% or lower. The score is your biggest winning day divided by total profit. Above 20%, you keep trading until it falls back into range.
Consistency Rule — Instant Mini Restricted
A 15% ceiling measured on your largest winning trade divided by total profit. A trade means any trade idea where all running positions are opened and closed together.
News Trading — Standard Programs Restricted
On the Standard programs no trade may be opened or closed within 2 minutes either side of a red-folder release. Violations disqualify the account, including when the breach happens during auto-closure, and profit from restricted events is not credited in either the challenge or the live phase.
News Trading — 2-Step OMO Funded Restricted
Still allowed once funded, but profit made inside a 4-minute window — 2 minutes either side of the release — is capped at 0.50% of your account balance.
Minimum Trade Hold Time Restricted
Every trade must stay open at least 1 minute on 1-Step BNPL, 1-Step Standard, 2-Step Standard, 3-Step Standard and Instant, in both evaluation and funded stages. Accounts breaking this are terminated at review. On Instant Mini and funded 2-Step OMO the floor rises to 150 seconds, and shorter trades do not count toward progress.
Minimum Trading Days Restricted
None on Instant Mini, Instant, 1-Step Standard, 3-Step Standard and 1-Step BNPL. 2-Step Standard needs 3 profitable days at 0.5% each; 2-Step OMO needs 4 profitable days at 0.5% each. Both apply in evaluation and funded stages.
2-Step OMO Time Limit Restricted
A combined maximum of 180 days across Phase 1 and Phase 2, with no separate deadline for either phase.
M2 Account Saver — 1-Step BNPL & 2-Step OMO Restricted
Triggers automatically when drawdown reaches 2% of account balance. The first breach closes all open trades and permanently cuts your profit split to 50%. A second breach is a hard breach.
Floating PnL Limit — Instant Mini & Instant Standard Restricted
Your account can never sit more than 1% down in floating PnL, measured as the gap between balance and equity. Breaching it breaches the account, regardless of where the trade would have closed.
Maximum Open Positions — Instant Mini Restricted
Only one trade may be open at any given time.
IP Address Policy Restricted
Your IP address must stay in the same geographical region across the challenge phase and live accounts. If it changes you have to provide proof — plane tickets or live location verification — to justify it.
Funded Daily Profit Cap Restricted
Once funded profits pass $5,000, no single trade or trading day may account for more than 50% of total profit. A trading day is measured as the time between two trades, not by calendar day, and profit above the threshold is cut back to the limit. Passing $5,000 in payouts triggers a mandatory risk interview with an analyst, with one reschedule allowed and two weeks to complete it. Random interviews can also happen below $5,000. Accounts reset to their starting balance after payout.
Risk Limit Restricted
Applied only to a small minority of traders showing poor risk management. Unless Maven notifies you by email, you trade without extra restrictions; if you exceed the limits set out in that email, the account is breached.
Withdrawal Limit Restricted
Up to $10,000 per 30-day cycle across every account you hold. Profit above the cap is voided and the account resets to its starting balance after payout. The cycle starts from your first profit closure date.
Inactivity Rule Restricted
Accounts must not sit dormant for more than 30 calendar days.
Expert Advisors (EAs) Prohibited
EAs are not permitted under any circumstances, on any platform Maven offers.
Gambling Prohibited
Excessive scalping (holding 50% or more of your trades under a minute), martingale, all-in trades (a single trade with no stop-loss, or risking more than the drawdown limit to pass or fail — funded stage included), and gamifying by trading two accounts against each other are all classed as gambling. A trade means one or more positions on the same pair with similar timing and lot size; small-lot or random entries do not qualify and can lead to disqualification.
Other Prohibited Strategies Prohibited
High-frequency trading, toxic order flow, long/short arbitrage, reverse arbitrage, tick scalping, server execution, grid and gap trading, reverse and group hedging, and hedging. Violation leads to account termination.

80% profit split, 70% on Instant Mini • Minimum $20 • Maximum $10,000 per 30-day cycle across all accounts
Profit Split
80% on Instant Standard, 1-Step BNPL, 1-Step Standard, 2-Step Standard, 3-Step Standard and 2-Step OMO. Instant Mini is the exception at 70%.
Payout Frequency
1-Step, 2-Step and 3-Step Standard plus 2-Step OMO pay on a 10-business-day cycle. Instant Standard and 1-Step BNPL pay on demand once you meet the payout requirements. Instant Mini pays once, the day after the trading period ends.
Minimum Withdrawal
$20 on the Standard programs, 1-Step BNPL and 2-Step OMO. Instant Mini and Instant Standard need 3% profit on the initial account balance instead.
Maximum Withdrawal
$10,000 per 30-day cycle across every account you hold. Profit above the cap is voided and the account resets to its starting balance after payout. The cycle runs from your first profit closure date.
2-Step OMO Withdrawal Cap
First payout is capped at 6% of the initial account balance, the second at 8%, and from the third payout onward there is no cap.
1-Step BNPL Profit Rebuild
After a withdrawal your loss limit is anchored to the original funded balance. You have to keep the account above that figure and rebuild profit on top of it before you can request another withdrawal.
Scaling Plan — up to $1M
Profit 10% over four months, averaging 2.5% a month, with at least one payout per month, and the account is increased by 25%. Allocation scales toward $1,000,000 under the scaling plan.

Maven Trading Reviews & Ratings
Rated by our community & expert team
Maven sells seven programs from $5, every one of them in the same six sizes from $2,000 to $100,000, all at 1:75 on FX. The pricing is the pull: a $2,000 Omo 2-Step is $9 with code OMO, and 1-Step BNPL takes $5 up front and defers the rest into an activation fee you only pay once you pass. Splits are flat 80% with nothing to buy and no tier to climb — Mini is the lone exception at 70%. Where the programs actually differ is drawdown: 1-Step BNPL hands you 10% with no daily limit at all, while Standard 3-Step gives 3% and a 2% daily cap for the same money. Read three things before buying. Expert Advisors are banned outright, which rules out automation entirely. Withdrawals cap at $10,000 per 30-day cycle across every account you hold, not per account. And the balance resets to its starting figure after each payout, so nothing compounds.
Summary
A Saint Lucia firm trading since November 2022. Seven programs, $2,000 to $100,000 accounts, $200,000 maximum allocation, on Match Trader and MT5 at 1:75 FX. Flat 80% split everywhere except Mini at 70%, with no add-on to buy. Payouts by bank transfer, crypto or Riseworks, and the challenge fee comes back in full on your third payout on every program except Mini.
Price is the argument. $5 gets you a 1-Step BNPL account with 10% of drawdown and no daily limit, and $9 gets a $2,000 Omo 2-Step with code OMO. Mini pays fastest — one payout the day after the trading period closes. Instant and BNPL release on demand once their consistency rule clears; the Standards and Omo run a 10-day cycle.
Three things decide whether it fits. EAs are banned outright, so automated traders should stop here. The $10,000 monthly cap counts across all your accounts at once. And accounts reset to their starting balance after every payout, so nothing compounds.
Deep Dive
More About Maven Trading
Is Maven Trading Legit?
Yes. Maven has been operating since November 2022 under founder Jon Alexander, registered in Saint Lucia, with three years of trading behind it. Its Trustpilot score sits at — across — reviews, so there is less public feedback to weigh than with older names — a reason to start small rather than a mark against the firm.
Maven publishes the awkward parts instead of burying them. Both consistency formulas are written out in full. The 1% floating PnL limit states plainly that a breach ends the account. The $10,000 cap, the post-payout reset and the complete buyback price list are all in the open, as is the M2 Account Saver on BNPL and Omo, which cuts your split to 50% on a first 2% drawdown breach and hard-breaches on a second.
The restriction most traders will hit first has nothing to do with risk management: Expert Advisors are not permitted under any circumstances, on any platform. Hedging is prohibited too, along with high-frequency trading, long/short and reverse arbitrage, tick scalping, server execution, and grid and gap trading. Manual copy trading is fine, including from broker and other prop accounts, but trade copiers are not. If any part of your process is automated, this is the wrong firm and the price advantage does not matter.
The profit rules bite harder than the loss rules. The $10,000 per 30-day cap counts across every account you hold, so stacking accounts does not multiply what you can withdraw, and anything above the cap is voided rather than carried forward. Accounts reset to their starting balance after each payout. Past $5,000 in payouts, no single trade or day may account for more than 50% of total profit, and a mandatory analyst interview is triggered with a two-week window to complete it.
One rule is unusual enough to plan around. Your IP address must stay in the same geographical region across challenge and live accounts, and a change requires proof — plane tickets or live location verification. Traders who move between countries should settle that before funding rather than after. Accounts also breach after 30 dormant days, which is shorter than most firms allow.
What Maven gets right is the split. 80% is what you get on day one on six of the seven programs, with nothing to buy and no tier to unlock, and the challenge fee comes back in full on your third payout. Mini is openly 70% rather than hidden behind an asterisk. Against firms advertising 90% that turns out to be a paid add-on, that plainness counts for a lot.
Maven Trading vs Other Forex Prop Firms
Maven Trading vs Instant Funding: Both compete on price and both cap monthly withdrawals. Instant Funding permits EAs and martingale and runs 1:100; Maven bans EAs outright, prohibits hedging and runs 1:75. Maven is cheaper at the door — $5 for a BNPL account against $18.75 — and its 8% and 10% drawdown tiers give more room than anything Instant Funding offers. If you trade manually and want the lowest entry price, Maven. If you run automation of any kind, Instant Funding is the only one of the two that allows it.
Maven Trading vs City Traders Imperium: CTI has been running since 2018 and pays up to 100% with no ceiling on what you withdraw. Maven caps payouts at $10,000 per 30-day cycle across every account you hold and resets the balance to its starting figure afterwards, so a strong month does not compound into the next one. Maven is far cheaper at the door and its scaling plan reaches $1,000,000, but CTI is the better home for capital you actually intend to grow.
Maven Trading vs Blueberry Funded: Closest on price, and the decision comes down to drawdown style and automation. Blueberry leaves a conventional static buffer and is looser on strategy; Maven’s Instant and Mini accounts add a 1% floating PnL limit that ends the account on an unrealised loss, and the EA ban applies across all seven programs. Maven’s 1-Step BNPL, with 10% drawdown and no daily cap for $5 up front, is the strongest card either firm holds at this price.
Maven Trading Frequently Asked Questions
What programs does Maven Trading offer?
Seven, all in the same six sizes from $2,000 to $100,000. Instant funds you on purchase. Mini is a one-day account paying 70%. 1-Step BNPL costs $5 up front with the real fee deferred until you pass. Omo 2-Step runs 6% then 8% with a 180-day limit. The three Standard evaluations are 1-Step at 8%, 2-Step at 8% then 5%, and 3-Step at 3% three times.
What profit split does Maven Trading pay?
80% on six of the seven programs, with Mini the exception at 70%. There is no add-on to buy and no tier to unlock, so the advertised figure is what you get from your first payout onward. On 1-Step BNPL and Omo 2-Step the M2 Account Saver can cut it to 50% if you trigger a 2% drawdown breach.
How much does a Maven Trading account cost?
The cheapest entry is 1-Step BNPL at $5, though you pay an activation fee on passing — $40 on a $2,000 account up to $589 on $100,000. A $2,000 Omo 2-Step is $9 with code OMO, which takes 40% off the Omo range. Code GUIDE takes 10% off every program and size.
Does Maven Trading refund the challenge fee?
Yes, in full on your third payout, on every program except Mini. On 1-Step BNPL that covers both the $5 up-front fee and the activation fee you paid on passing.
How fast does Maven Trading pay out?
Mini is fastest with a single payout the day after the trading period ends. Instant and 1-Step BNPL release on demand once you meet the requirements, which in practice means clearing the 20% consistency rule. The three Standard programs and Omo 2-Step run a 10-day cycle. Minimum withdrawal is $20 on the Standards, BNPL and Omo, or 3% of the initial balance on Instant and Mini.
What is the Maven Trading consistency rule?
It applies to Instant, 1-Step BNPL and Mini. On Instant and BNPL your largest winning day divided by total profit must sit at 20% or lower, which works out at about five profitable days. On Mini the same calculation uses your largest winning trade against a 15% ceiling. The Standard programs and Omo 2-Step have no consistency rule at all.
What is the Maven Trading withdrawal limit?
$10,000 per 30-day cycle, counted across every account you hold rather than per account. Profit above the cap is voided and the balance resets to its starting figure after payout. On Omo 2-Step the first payout is also capped at 6% of the initial balance and the second at 8%, uncapped from the third onward.
Are Expert Advisors allowed at Maven Trading?
No. EAs are not permitted under any circumstances on any platform Maven offers. Hedging is prohibited too, along with high-frequency trading, long/short and reverse arbitrage, tick scalping, server execution, and grid and gap trading. Manual copy trading is allowed, including from broker and other prop accounts, but trade copiers are not.
What is the 1% floating PnL limit?
On Instant and Mini the gap between your account balance and its equity can never exceed 1%. Breaching it breaches the account, which means an open position can end your account before it ever closes. The Standard programs, 1-Step BNPL and Omo 2-Step are not subject to it.
What leverage and platforms does Maven Trading offer?
1:75 on FX, 1:20 on metals, indices, energy and other commodities, and 1:2 on crypto. Metals run at 1:100 on Standard 2-Step, the only exception across the lineup. Trading is on Match Trader or MT5, maximum allocation is $200,000, and the scaling plan reaches $1,000,000.
